Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property (Ukrpatent) has published results of inventive activity for 2019.
Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod has ranked among scientific, research and educational organizations and enterprises of Ukraine that received over five years (2015-2019) the largest number of patents for inventions and utility models being the only representative of industry.
It is also worth noting that among Ukrainian enterprises with high inventive activity (the number of applications for inventions and utility models), NKMZ confidently ranks first.
A new ore bucket unloader (OBU) manufactured by Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod PJSC, as part of the modernization program for production facilities, was commissioned at Zaporizhstal PJSC.
According to the press service of Zaporizhstal PJSC: “The new crane equipment has replaced the outdated analogue at the site of the ore storage yard of the blast furnace workshop, where the machine is involved in blending stack for agglomeration and blast-furnace process. The capacity of the unloader is 700 tons per hour at a lifting speed of more than 90 meters per minute. The average daily capacity of the crane is 8800 tons”
Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod (Kramatorsk, Donetsk region) shipped to the customer a ball rolling mill ШПС 60-100, designed to produce steel grinding balls with a diameter of 60, 80, 90 and 100 mm. Balls will be produced by cross-helical rolling with subsequent in-line heat treatment, meeting the requirements for their quality.
Until recently, NKMZ have not produced cross helical rolling mills. And only in 2018 the first ball rolling mill ШПС 20-400 was designed and manufactured for Energostil company (Kiev) here.
In contrast, the current machine features an increased productivity up to 100 thousand tons per year, includes a heating section, a full heat treatment cycle and a ball packing section, and allows producing balls of high hardness.
