Novokramatorsky mashinostroitelny zavod keeps investing in preparation of manpower by means of various support to vocational technical schools of the city.
According to Mr. Sergey Udodenko, the deputy technical director for construction works of NKMZ, the enterprise accommodated the requests of the heads of Kramatorsk vocational technical education center) (former vocational technical school No. 47) and Kramatorsk higher vocational technical school No. 14 (KHVTS No. 14) as for assistance in the repair of workshops and classrooms. Specialists of the construction works department developed design estimates, held tenders, and involved contractors into work. NKMZ allocated 2.8 million UAH to finance the repair works.
In KHVTS No 14, three classrooms were repaired, including installation of metal-plastic doors, complete replacement of the electrical wiring and heating systems, installation of new floor covering and suspended ceilings, plastering and painting of the walls. Similar work was done in a workshop with area of 25 m2. The workshop and classrooms have now nice and up-to-date look, , and, no doubt, it has become more pleasant to study in them. This year NKMZ also helped the school to purchase furniture (desks, chairs, wardrobes) for three classrooms of the second building.
Director of KHVTS No 14 Mr. Mikhail Kuprikov expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of NKMZ PJSC Mr. Georgy Skudar, General Director Mr. Igor Protynyak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mr. Maxim Turkov and the entire staff of the enterprise for the attention they constantly pay to this educational institution. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the school, Mr. Georgy Skudar personally donated a computer class. Last year the company handed over computers and interactive whiteboards and carried out external repairs of the school complex.
In another educational institution of Kramatorsk, namely Vocational Technical Education Center, repair works are carried out today in a turning workshop with a total area of 365 m2. Here, the dismantling of the old ones and the installation of new door and window metal-plastic blocks, the plastering of the walls have already been completed. The works as for concrete floors restoration, plastering, walls painting, repair a foreman’s room, repair of floor slabs and roofs, as well as electrical installation works are currently in progress.
Over 2019-2020, NKMZ spent 7.4 million UAH for repairs of premises and workshops in KHVTS No. 14 and Vocational Technical Education Center and for their equipping with office equipment and furniture.
