Purpose:
Initial solidification of liquid metal around the perimeter and formation of an ingot with the specified cross-section.

Design Features:
Moulds are tube-type with a universal casing for all cast section sizes for billet continuous casting machines, and assembled type for bloom continuous casting machines.

It is possible to equip the mould with a metal level sensor.

Moulds can be equipped with support rollers and cooling manifolds.

The mould casing can be designed for the application of an electromagnetic stirring unit.
